shape is bird song? What colour is a dripping tap?
This day of Art gives a unique insight into exploring the world
through sound and the drawing mark. Explore, play, enjoy the
art of drawing from a new perspective. From novice to artist.
Energy awareness exercises based on tai chi and meditations
based on focusing will enhance awareness of the subtle
sounds in the environment. You will learn how to interpret
these in your own personal style to form a new and exciting
visual language.

weekend workshop with Dawn Dupree
Dawn
Dupree has a national reputation and is well known for
her printed textile collections mainly for interiors.Inspired
by the urban and domestic landscape her work really pushes
the boudaries of printed textiles
You will learn all aspects of experimental silk screen printing, dye pastes,
pigments and discharge printing, steam and fix processes.. You will be encouraged
to experiment on a range of different surfaces and be inspired by the unusual.
